Life is a Prayer

Munch on Tofi Luk and savour its rich, creamy chocolate covering its wafer with a combination of smooth caramel and crunchy nuts… Ooohhh, tempting…
But, when I say TOFI, i.e. Tuition and Other Fee Increases, imposed on the UP System, it is not Luk, I mean "Luck". Yeah, UPCAT takers, passing this test is really Luck, but when you’re surprised at looking at the pre-admission documents, you see that the fees force you to say, "It’ll be lucky if you have money like that to pay those fees." TOFI isn’t rich, sweet, smooth and crunchy. It’s just a plain old spoiled ‘chocolate bar’ too bitter to be eaten.
Look, for example, only in UP Mindanao, 500+ freshie studes qualified for admission, 300+ confirmed, but 203 studes enrolled. Maybe that TOFI is such a unLUcKy thing. Malas!
I’m one of the 203 LUcKy ones who can afford those fees and experience UP life. 
Poor unLUcKy people who cannot afford the fees covered up by the bitter TOFI.

Ito ang parating pinapaalala sa akin ng mga kaklase ko. These are all the statements that my classmates always remind to me. But all these things now turn out to be cliché, for I never put into heart these statements.
I confess that I’m not a true friend to those people who never forget to remind me of controlling myself. I was too worried to make these good things a reality, for the teasings or, shall I say, "mockery" I recieved controlled my life.
Life is never meant to be controlled by negative thoughts.
I must not be an underdog again.
Whenever I love to go to the Internet café, my routine is to look into my e-mails first (i.e. Yahoo! & Hotmail) and then log-on to Friendster. Then go to Blogger, if I feel to make an entry.
Friendster has been my stress buster for months because you can communicate with friends without other stimuli that can annoy you. :-p Friendster made me express myself through making layouts, making some comments/testimonials, uploading photos, etc. Friendster makes my Internet experience worthwhile.
Blogger has also been my stress buster because here is my TRUE portal for my creativity and showing to the world that I am a true person. I can make posts regarding my life, just like a journal or a diary.
Next time, I will put MySpace (and eventually Multiply) as one of my stress busters. I still have to learn how to manipulate it…
